Unos días atrás, Viernes, en las instalaciones de un astillero en Mumbai se desencadenó un incendio en la fragata de la Armada India INS Ganga que se extinguió sin mayores problemas dejando un balance de 3 personas heridas; 2 civiles y un marinero...





Minor fire in INS Ganga at Mumbai dockyard; 3 injured
In a freak accident, three persons, including a sailor, were injured after a minor fire erupted on board INS Ganga at the Naval dockyard in Mumbai.The incident happened around 11.15 am when welding work was underway on the Naval ship, which was dry docked in the Naval dockyard, sources said.
According to Naval sources, the welding gun took time to ignite and when it did thick flames erupted causing injuries to two civilians and a sailor.
Confirming the developments Navy PRO Captain D.K Sharma told The Hinduthat the incident was a minor freak accident and was situation was brought under control quickly.
“It was a minor incident. All the three were given medical aid owing to the minor burn injuries,” Captain Sharma said.
INS Ganga (F22) is a Godavari-class guided-missile frigate of the Indian Navy. Built by Mazagon Dock Limited, INS Ganga was commissioned on December 30, 1985.
