The Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia concluded a holding company "Russian Helicopters" contract for the research project of high-speed helicopter, reports "Interfax" referring to the materials of the Ministry. Under the agreement, the Russian holding company will receive 2.5 billion rubles. As expected, the R & D phase will be completed in November 2013. Details on advanced helicopter is not specified. Over the past few years Russia has been the creation of three types of high-speed helicopters: Mi-X1 Mil Design Bureau, the Ka-90 and Ka-92 Kamov design bureau.
